Why Psych of Dance exists?
I’ve spent my life choreographing, teaching, and directing movement. But the deeper I went, the more I realized: not every movement was meant for the stage. Some movements were meant for the feelings we never spoke. For the emotions we carried silently.
Psych of Dance was born to create a different space.
A space where movement isn’t about performance or perfection, but about processing. Where every intentional step, shake, reach, and release works together to clear what’s been stored inside.
This isn’t a fitness class.
It’s not a choreography class.
It’s not therapy.
It’s emotional maintenance in motion- a guided system to move emotions through the body using every tool your nervous system needs to access release:
→ Intentional gratitude to ground your awareness.
→ Journaling to name what’s ready to move.
→ Guided movement to unlock what words can’t.
Movement is the method.
Gratitude and reflection are the keys.
Release is the outcome.
What happens inside Psych of dance?
Every session follows a guided flow designed to help you move what’s been stuck:
We begin with intentional gratitude → to ground awareness and open presence.
We journal → to connect with what’s ready to release.
We move → through accessible, intentionally choreographed movement sequences designed to help emotions shift through the body.
It’s not about mastering steps.
It’s not about how it looks in the mirror.
It’s about what you move through and what you release.
This isn’t a dance class to impress.
It’s a system to help you process, reset, and reconnect.
